Long Time No Blog: Yes, it's true, but we are not DONE YET!

It is true that we have certainly neglected posting pictures and texts on our family blog. The typical excuse is that our internet is down, but that is not really true any more. I got that fixed! We are now having trouble downloading the necessary software in order to download the pictures. It’s a long story, but I think we came to some sort of solution. But we do assume we have some sort of audience left (if at all, or EVER), perhaps mom and dad are still out there!!!

Well, let the update begin!

Mills Current News: Football season has been really fun this year. Wow, what a Civil War 2006. Brian's friend Robert from San Diego joined our family for this year’s Civil War. We all went crazy to say the least. It was great to yell at Duck fans, eat Duck pizza, walk around the campus yelling at Duck fans, and then there was the GAME! The Beavers kicked butt as we yelled at Duck fans. It was Robert’s first time to Oregon, so he got quite the show. Perhaps next time Brian will take him to the Oregon County Fair, that will really freak him out. Sarah and Brian have recently become addicted to Monopoly the board game. They basically play all night! Brian is the “New York, Tennessee Ave” type and Sarah is the “Kentucky Ave with utilities and rail road type.” It’s EPIC. The mills family has also been very creative with new yard and housing projects, art projects, garage sale preparation, and hosting dinners and activity with friends. Other events we enjoy as a family is getting out of the house. Sarah and Andrew went to the animal park all summer, went to the beach, and we all even went to Sea World. Andrew really loves animals, in books, TV or in real life. We were also able to travel to Oregon over thanks-giving, which provided a great time for family to connect and be with each other and also allow the little cousins to play. We are now recovered from that trip! Andrew Current News: "Oh the wonderful sounds Mr. Brown can do… he can sound like a Cow"... then Andrew yells, “MOO! MOO!” Although Andrew’s first word was either Da or Bal, he currently loves to ROAR like a lion (or tiger, it all the same to him at this point). Andrew is beginning to really like blocks and hitting and throwing balls. Baseball might be his sport, along with playing the piano and dancing. He also enjoys reading books. Almost every day, he will bring a few books to my lap then clap twice (which means, I want up) and that is my queue to pick him up and read to him. Every once in awhile we will read some G. Vos, M. Kline, B. B. Warfield, or L. Berkof, to get his brain a turning. We will also find him sitting on his rocking chair with a few books; he reads and stares at all the pictures and blabs to himself, all by himself. It is quite amusing. We hope to provide more blogging opportunities in the future. Sorry that this post is in constant flux, without much structure or clarity, but we hope you enjoyed the glimpse into our lives. From warm San Diego, the mills family.
