Popsicle Bath

Most nights Andrew takes a bath or a shower. In order to accomplish the bath task as parents we ask him, “Andrew, do you want BATH TIME BABY (which is a song he loves) or SHOWER POWER (which is a super hero theme song type of thing)? Andrew used to simply pick one, but over time it got more complicated. Like, Andrew began saying BATH TIME BABY with bubbles or BATH TIME BABY & SHOWER POWER (like at the same time!). Early this week Andrew had a fever and upset stomach and was very tired. It was around bath time.. and I thought to myself.. ok.. so if I was a two year old what would be super fun in the bath tub… POPSICLE BATH popped into my mind. That is exactly what he wanted to do. He had a blast.

Home and Resting

It is good to be back at home being a family. We have had a number of people bring us dinners: from bbq ribs, pork cuttlet, meatballs, mash potatoes... it has been all very good and extreamly helpful. Our friends Mary and Esther have been a huge help to us. Brian remains on family leave from work and is planning to go back next week. This weekend Sarah's parents and older sister are planning to visit and help out. Enjoy the photos of Jonathan's first week.

A Welcome to the Mills Family to Jonathan Brian Mills

This is our beloved son: Jonathan Brian. He was born Feb. 7, 2008 in Escondido CA at 12:19PM. He is healthy with very soft skin, great hearing and smells like a baby. Sarah went into labor Feb. 7, 2008 at 12:30AM in the morning (we were up all night). We were discharged on Feb. 8, 2008 around 4:00PM. At the hospital, we had a wonderful nursing staff esp. our nurse Vera. We also have a wonderful Doctor, who Andrew calls Dr. Mills. Here are some of the pictures of Jonathan & Andrew.
